If you enjoy a beer every now and then, leave your cash at home if you plan to do your consuming in a casino. I'm serious. Leave your evening bag, your billfold, and keep all cash, credit cards and checks back at the hotel. Pack whatever money you anticipate to spend on beverages, tips and few dollars you intend to squander and leave the rest behind.

Pessimistic? Absolutely not. Realistic more like. You can have a win after a boozy evening out with your compatriots and be lucky enough to hit a marathon roll at a smokin craps table. Hang on to that story because it is as short-lived as it gets if you regularly consume alcohol and gamble. The pair just don't mix.

Leaving your money back at the hotel is a little excessive, but preventative measures for drastic behavior is necessary. If you gamble to succeed, then don't drink alcohol and play. If you like to burn your money nary a worry, then drink all the no charge beer you can handle, but do not pack credit cards and cheques to throw into the mix of chasing squanderings after your drunk as a skunk head loses every little thing!

Allow me to carry this one step more. Don't drink and then go online to gamble in your favorite casino either. I love to beverage from the coziness of my house, but since I'm hooked up through Neteller, Firepay and keep charge cards at my fingertips, I can not drink alcohol and bet.

Why? Despite the fact that I don't drink a lot, once I drink alcohol, it's clearly adequate to befuddle my better judgment. I bet, so I don't drink alcohol when wagering. If you are more of a drinker, don't wager when you do. Both make for a dangerous, and expensive, cocktail.
